A bag of Granny Smith Apples – peeled, cored and halved

Cinnamon,

Xylitol

180ml Soya Yoghurt

Granola (from Faithful-To-Nature) or crushed Provita to garnish

DIRECTIONS

Boil the apples in water that is just enough to cover the apples. Keep an eye on them and once they are soft enough (if a knife goes through them) rinse any excess water, if there is any. You will then need a masher (yes, the one you mash potatoes with) and start mashing the apples. While you’re mashing them in the pot over a very low heat, add the cinnamon and xylitol to your desired taste. We love the cinnamon flavour, so we add quite a heap. We use a little bit of xylitol just to take away some of the sourness of the apples. But it is all up to your desired tastes
